Course Overview

     

    SESSION ONE

    • Introduction to emergency response
    • Hot spots on your site (including mini environmental impact analysis)
    • Relevant environmental & waste management legislation (including hazardous waste regulations) 
    • COMAH, COSHH and other health & safety considerations.

    SESSION TWO

    • Preventive measures, including correct segregation & storage of materials,
    • Layers of protection, etc.
    • Mitigating measures, including bunding, spill procedures and correct disposal
    • Practical demonstration (groups of 4/5)
    • Test (multiple choice)

    Course content is designed to ensure all delegates achieve a clear understanding of how to deal with Emergency Spillage using a variety of approaches.

    A video and/or working examples will be used in the event of the company not having any
    spill kits, etc. on the premises.
