




The course is highly interactive and gives delegates a good all round knowledge of what their duties are as employees, how to spot hazards, the importance of developing control measures and how they can contribute to improving their organisations safety performance.
At the end of the course there is a test split into two sections;
A multiple choice test.
A hazard spotting exercise.


Delegates that pass the test will be awarded either an IOSH Working Safely Certificate or a credit card sized Health and Safety Passport Card.

- Improving safety performance; this looks at how a company can improve its safety performance through organisational arrangements that form its safety management system. This includes looking at safety policies, accident recording, auditing, personal protective equipment and safe systems of work.
- Protecting our environment; this module gives an introduction to waste and pollution. It gives examples of how companies and individuals can reduce pollution levels by cutting down on waste.
